Receptionist/Accounts Payable
Cricket Victoria is one of Australia’s leading sporting organisations and carries the responsibility of developing Cricket throughout the State. 
Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a full time Receptionist/Accounts Payable person to join our team.  This is a varied role performed on the front desk with lots of customer contact and the ability to use your accounting skills.
Duties of this position include:
·        Front desk reception duties.
·        Office administration tasks such as filing, typing and photocopying.
·        Stationery ordering and stocking of store rooms.
·        Calling contractors for minor repairs and maintenance.
·        Ordering catering for meetings.
·        Franking and distribution of mail.

·        Accounts payable processing using SunSystems.

·        Processing of credit card receipts.

·        Daily banking.

·        Filing of invoices.
To be successful you will have exceptional presentation skills, proven customer service skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to juggle a variety of tasks.   The salary package for this position is approximately $40,000 gross.

Female Projects Officer
Females in cricket is a top priority for Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria is leading the way nationally with participation rates and innovative programs for females of all ages.
The position of Female Project Officer has been designed to assist the Game Development Department to reach its strategic target of 30,000 female participants by 2011. To be part of this exciting challenge you must have experience in communicating with a wide target audience and have an understanding of the male and female cricket community.
Responsibilities of this position include:
§         Liaising and supporting Regional Cricket Managers and Cricket Associations/Clubs in regards to specific female development strategies
§         Coordinate and support inter school programs including Kanga 8s, Super 8s, government and independent  school competitions.
§         Undertake the organisation of the annual Women’ Country Cup.
§         Assist with the development of female pathways programs at all levels

  • Look for opportunities to present the females in cricket message to all key stake holders
  • Conduct school clinics when required based around regional target programs
  • Submit monthly female updates for Cricket Victoria’s ENewsletter
This 3 day a week position will work closely with the School Programs Coordinator and be linked to strategic outcomes of  Cricket Victoria. We are looking for someone who is a team player, self-motivated and with outstanding communication skills, particularly in face to face meetings with individuals and groups. You will also have excellent organisational and planning skills and a desire to take female cricket to a new level of involvement at all levels.
